They did a great job. The house is about 12 years old, and I have an outdoor fireplace that was built on the back of my garage and was pulling the back of the garage off the back of the house. Anglin’s had to come in and put in four piers around the fireplace—two in front of the fireplace and two in the back of the garage. They also gave me a really fair price—I checked with three other companies. I told him that a lot of other expenses had come up, and he took another $500 off, even though he was my least expensive bid. They came over one morning about 9:00, they did all the work, and they cleaned up. I watched them—it was a really amazing thing to see them do. They were gone by the end of the day, and I wouldn’t have even known they were there. They cleaned all of my brick and replaced it, and it looked great. They did a wonderful job. They did A-grade work.

It was excellent. They know what they are doing, and when they came out and explained what they would do, they seemed to be competent. I cross-referenced what they told me with a civil engineer that I rely on, and the civil engineer said it was right on target. Then, I had the work done, and it was excellent. They put a pier system under a chimney that was sinking and starting to separate from the house. They lifted it up a few inches so that it would stay stable. When they did the job, it took half or three-quarters of a day—it was in line with or faster than what was usual. I don’t live at that site, so I went over to talk to the workers to see what they were doing, and that gave me a good feeling as well. I would give an A grade to them.

I liked that Anglin’s came in and did the work without upsetting the plantings. It was hard to get through some of the bushes to where they needed to work, but when they left, it looked like they had never been there except that the problem with the foundation was gone. They were working on a builder issue—the ground had not been compacted, and our interior screened porch was sagging. Its footing was not resting on anything, and they had to put in two piers that lifted it back up about an inch and stabilized it. I chose Anglin’s because I had done some reading about them, and I checked their website and then made a few calls to people that had used them before. Plus, I looked at the technology that they were using, and I thought theirs would be the best in the long term. I would grade them as an A.

I liked that they were knowledgeable. They explained the entire process. Anglin’s did the job for a third of what their competitors estimated. The other company is a well-known company here in Atlanta and would have done great work, I’m certain of it, but the solution was grossly over-engineered and overpriced. I had a second story sunroom that had wrong steel post footing that was causing the sunroom to settle. The job took about two days—what they said it would take—and they did excellent work. I have no complaints.

First off, they showed up on time and did the work they said they were going to do, and the work was done in a way that appeared to be correct. The jobsite was left as clean as it was when they started. They had to repoint some brickwork, and they had to put up a couple of supporting piers. I chose them because I had brought a few other people in who said Anglin’s did that work and guarantees its work. Everyone else said the problem would reappear and that the other companies didn’t guarantee it.

They did foundation work. Their customer service was really good. I worked with Mr. Anglin himself—he came out to the house twice and did a good job. He surveyed the task and got to work. I chose Anglin’s because I was looking for a full-service company, and a lot of foundation repair companies don’t also do brick work, but Anglin’s does. I had also gotten three estimates from all the major players. They were all quoting me drastically different things. When the work needed to be done, I called an engineer, and I asked him, ‘Who do you recommend?’ He said, ‘Anglin’s.’ They deserve an A.

They did what they said they would do for the price that they quoted. Lastly, they had to move some shrubs in order to do what they were doing, and they put everything back, even the pine straw, and cleaned the area nicely. They were very expensive, but it was good work. They put some reinforcement under a very large step. We had eight steps that were all brick and ten feet across. I chose Anglin’s because when I read different websites, I liked the way they presented themselves. I pray that I don’t need anything else, but if I did, I would call them. They’re an A in my book.

Then, first thing in the morning the day the work was supposed to begin, they were spot-on, and they finished it up. It could not have been better, to be honest. It was mostly positive. They did a foundation repair and then they did a re-establishment of the original repair about 10 years later. And that was all good, but they were unable to provide me a guarantee for their work. They would not guarantee the work they performed for a period of time whether that was five years, ten years, or the life of the structure or what-have-you, they were unable to make the guarantee. The corner of our garage was settling. We had seen it for a while, and then we finally decided we’d better do something. I used that blue book—the Home Reports. One guy was going to dig up the trees and everything else, another girl was going to take two weeks to raise it an eighth of an inch every day, and the money was all over the place. Anglin’s was the best on the presentation part; it was no-nonsense—just really simple—and explained what they were going to do and everything. By the time I talked to everybody else, it had dawned on me that Anglin’s was going to do the right thing for the right price. Another big thing was that they said that no matter how far down they had to drill to put these pipes in to pick up the house, the price would be the same. They said, ‘If you go to these other places, they’re going to give you 25 feet or something, and then after that, it’s so much money for so much pipe.’ It’s lucky we went with them because we ended up putting in I don’t know how many feet on one of them. One guy came out to give me the estimate, and then two guys came out to do the job. I had a sprinkler head, and I pointed it out to the guy. He could only dig so far, and then he had to do the rest by hand. It was brutal, but he was trying not to screw that sprinkler head up. After they were finished, they cleaned everything; the place was cleaner than when they started. They even painted it. I was really impressed. I was happy. I would give them an A+ grade if that’s the highest.

They did a good job—very good. It was difficult work. I was happy, overall, with the job they did—however, there was one issue that I would like to constructively point out. I don’t want to make it sound like an extremely negative point, but once they came with the estimate, I only had contact with the workers going forward. When there was a problem, I could not contact the same man. When I called him back, he was very reluctant to make any sincere effort to come and look at the job he’d done. Overall, the job they did was OK with me. However, it could be one negative point for them to improve. I would say they’re an A-.

The experience was positive because of the time frame they did it in and the cleaning they did. There is not anything I think should’ve gone differently—everything was good. They did a back slab the length of the house underneath our deck. The work looks good today. I would definitely use the company again, so I would say they’re an A.

I believe that was his name. He was prompt, on time, and did what he said he was going to do. We were very pleased. They did floors for me. The floors are holding up very well. We would use them again. It’s an A for me.

They were prompt, and they did a nice job. There was not anything I thought should’ve gone differently. I would give Anglin’s an A+.
