I love the fact that they have an elderly man who is still mentally and physically able. He’s older and has lots of experience. I felt like he assessed my problem and gave me a reasonable bid. The people came out and did what they said they were going to do when they were supposed to do it. I was very pleased, which is rare. The cleanup was good. I’m not sure how I heard about Anglin’s or why I chose them. I would say they get an A- grade. When I went around to look at it, there was something that made me say, ‘That doesn’t look exactly right.’ They had to spruce something up just a little bit, but there was absolutely no question. They said, ‘Oh, you’re right. That could be nicer.’ I pointed out something, and they addressed it; I was very pleased. I would recommend the company to somebody, but on the bill, they wrote, ‘Installed three piers in the left front corner of the house.’ I would prefer—I think it’s more professional—if people say, ‘Northeast corner.’ It bothers me when people who are professionals don’t do that, but that’s what they wrote. They also wrote, ‘Repaired mortar crack,’ and that’s what they did. I’m pretty much a professional at assessing things. I was a medical and structural design developer. When they were trying to teach men and women to be doctors or nurses or teach patients about some surgical procedure, I would come in and assess the situation. I would ask, ‘What is this?’ And the doctor would say it the way a doctor says it. Then I would go, ‘How can it be said so that regular human beings can understand it?’ I have a master’s degree in translation; I’m educated.

I did use Anglin’s Foundation & Masonry Repairs when we had to have our porch jacked up. It was good. It was a small job, but they were on time and did the job. I think they had a simpler solution than other people I had consulted. I would give them an A.

They did do work for us. I think the work they did has proven to be very good. I haven’t had to call them back for the work that they did. There was some finishing up work and tidying up stuff that they left kind of undone. They did give us a good price. The work they did do has been really good. Our foundation hasn’t had any problem since then. I think I would give them a B to a B+. I feel like they did a good job. There were just a few things there that they kind of left.

Anglin’s did a tremendous job. My chimney was leaning away from the house, and some companies said that the best thing to do would be to tear it down. Anglin’s put in piers and pushed it back against the house. They did an excellent job—A+.

They performed the work as we had discussed. I would use the company again if I needed their services. Some of the finish details I would’ve liked to have been a little more finished, but overall, it was good. It was a small project. They had to do some finish work on some brick that didn’t line up, and it just would’ve been nice if they had done a better job of finishing the brick. It didn’t really have anything to do with the foundation support, so it kind of went outside the original scope of work, but it was something that comes up quite a bit, so I would’ve liked it done better, but it was not a huge issue. I’d give them an A-.

I had a positive experience with Anglin’s, and I liked that they were very prompt. They got the job done in a short period of time, and it seems to have held up well. I would rate them an A. The only thing I remember is at the time the work was done, I filled out an evaluation that asked if the technicians had discussed future possible problems with me and explained what length of time can be guaranteed. I remember telling the gentleman at the time, ‘I don’t think anyone talked to me about that.’ I assumed because I had asked, ‘So, this should hold up?’ He said, ‘Oh yeah, it’ll hold up.’ But they didn’t really go into those specific questions about possible future problems or what they can and cannot guarantee—things like that. I would still give them an A.

I had a very positive experience with Anglin’s. I liked the explanation of the work and the speed, and I guess he stuck to the price that he quoted. The worker explained to me that I was actually under quoted. They did a pier and had to take something down. It probably would’ve been more, but they didn’t charge me extra. I’ll give them an A.

I just got some photographs back of what they did, and I realized I don’t have a guarantee of the work. I thought they guarantee the work for the life of the house, but I don’t happen to have a piece of paper that says I have a guarantee. As far as the work, everything was perfect. I would probably use them again. I think I’d give them an A.

I was very positive. I’ve used them more than once. They do good work. When they sent the project manager out there to discuss what it was that needed done, he evaluated it, told me what he thought ought to be done and how it ought to be done. That was important, not only what ought to be done, but how it ought to be done. They didn’t fool around, they got the job done in a day or less and cleaned it up and was gone. What he estimated it would cost, is what it costed me. The project manager was very polite, he was well dressed, spoke very well. The crew that was sent out there to do the actual work, they looked professional. If I asked a question, I was pointed toward the lead man and he immediately came over, stopped his work, and answered any questions that I had. They are very professional and very efficient. It’s A+ work.

There was a set of steps outside my house that had come away from the house, so Anglin’s reset the foundation of the steps. They did what they said they were going to do quickly, and they cleaned up after themselves. Everything was fine, and it was a positive experience overall. Everything you would expect a company to do, they do. I can’t think of how they could improve. I’m happy and satisfied, and I would give them an A.

Anglin’s did foundation repair for us, and we had a positive experience with them. We had a part of the building that was sinking, and they were able to jack it back up, put some beams under it, and stabilize it. I think the pricing, the communication with the team, and the knowledge of the team all contributed to a positive experience. They really did a pretty good job for us, and I was really satisfied compared to some other people I’ve dealt with occasionally. They’d get an A from me.
